CASBA Golf 2017
The 2017 CASBA will be held at the Villas at Grand Cypress. The Kit Murphy Memorial Tournament will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the North South Course and the Captains Choice Scramble will be played on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the New Course.
We will be offering hole sponsorships at $150.00 for both days and mulligans will be available for $10.00 each day. These proceeds go to the Kit Murphy Scholarship Fund, which has helped numerous students and parents within our organization. All golfers will be responsible for your green fees.
The weather should be great and I look forward to another great golf outing.

CASBA Honors the Murphy Family from Mother Murphy’s Laboratories
During the 45th Annual CASBA Convention held at Saddlebrook Resort, Tampa, FL, in February 2014, a CASBA Lifetime award was presented to The Murphy Family, of Mother Murphy’s Laboratories, for nearly five decades of dedicated service to CASBA.
The Murphy family has been extremely active members in CASBA for many years, helping to initiate the Kit Murphy Memorial Scholarships awarded each year at the annual CASBA convention, as well as the Kit Murphy Scholarship Gold Tournament. The CASBA organization is proud to honor this wonderful family in their ongoing support for the baking industry and CASBA.
During the 44th Annual CASBA Convention held at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in February 2013, CASBA Lifetime awards were presented to a very special trio of CASBA members, who were each instrumental in the founding of the organization in 1970:
Craig Parrish, left front, long-time VP of Finance at Bishop Baking, now retired from Kellogg’s. Craig is the Executive Director of CASBA, Inc.
Bud Cason, center front, Founder, Owner, CEO of Bud’s Best Cookies, Birmingham, AL.
